My interest in teaching started at an early age. First I completed National University’s BCLAD Teaching Credential Program, followed by a Master of Education in Bilingual Cross-cultural Teaching, also from National U. Then I got a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning the Spanish Language and it’s Culture from the Universidad de Granada, Spain.
I have also attended course studies at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain, and ITESO University in Guadalajara, Mexico. Overall, I have been teaching for a period of 19 years, most of them at Mueller Charter School, K-8th. This is my second year at Bayfront.
I am really excited about working at Bayfront Charter High School. Living in five different countries around the world increased my worldview and immensely enriched my life. It exposed me to many different cultures, and allowed me to learn a few languages. Besides teaching, I love reading, traveling, history, trekking, and learning languages.
I have been fortunate to travel to more than 60 countries, and would like to share my passion about archaeology, monuments, and the world with our students. The world is waiting for you to discover it!
